43% cocoa chocolate with milk & hazelnut
Our hazelnut chocolate with 43% cocoa is wonderfully rich with a smooth taste of the 43% cocoa chocolate combines beautifully with the crunchy hazelnuts. Our hazelnuts come from Ortlieb organic, which is Fairtrade certified. Ortlieb organic has been working with a cooperative farm in Azerbaijan on the edge of the Caucasus for decades. From which they source their organically certified hazelnuts. Our milk powder for the 43% cocoa chocolate comes from the Schrozberg dairy, which is one of the only suppliers of organic – demeter milk powder. The cows, from which the good Demeter milk comes, receive 100% organic feed and are kept in small herds in a species-appropriate manner with outdoor access. In addition, the animals are milked without robots and without the use of antibiotics on the teats.
Dark 70% cocoa chocolate with tigernut/almond
The second addition to our chocolate assortment is the dark chocolate with tigernut and almond. The tiger nut flour gives our 70% organic cocoa chocolate a sweet and nut-like note, which is further accentuated by almond flakes. A wonderful addition to our mild, yet tart chocolate with 70% cocoa content. Our almonds come firstly from Delphi Organic, which is EU organic, Naturland, USDA organic, Fairtrade, BioSuisse, Öko Garantie and BCS certified. Delphi Organic is a wholesaler specialized in food from controlled organic cultivation. Furthermore, the company attaches great importance to solid partnerships and a continuous exchange with the producers and processors in the respective country of cultivation. Furthermore, our almonds come from Canaan Fair Trade. Canaan Fair Trade supports disadvantaged Palestinian communities and enables a sustainable improvement in living standards with fair prices along the entire value chain.
The tiger nut flour used comes from Govinda, which is one of the only suppliers of organic tigernut. Govinda sees organic quality as a basic requirement and, through the cultivation of tigernuts in Niger, enables many people to earn a steady wage, have water supply and solar energy.
Dark 80% cocoa chocolate with Fleur de Sel
In addition to our 80% dark cocoa chocolate, we now have a dark chocolate with Fleur de Sel. Our 80% organic cocoa chocolate with fleur de sel combines powerful cocoa flavors with the tingle of salt crystals – a true feast for the taste buds. The salt for the chocolate comes from Khoisan in South Africa. The Khoisan company extracts its natural, hand-scooped sea salt from an underground salt lake. The goal of the family-owned company Khoisan Trading Co. Ltd. is to give work to as many people as possible from the surrounding region as well as to comply with international regulations for working conditions.
